Accessible from the Island, the Ferris wheel design is bordered by shopping malls, restaurants, residences and a souk, and will offer 360° breathtaking views of the Dubai skyline.

The Palm’s Aquaventure water park is one of the coolest water parks in Dubai and now, it’s about to up the ante. Post-upgrade, it is set to be one of the world’s biggest when it opens this year with the addition of a huge 34-metre tall new tower. Trident Tower will introduce 12 new slides to the water park on Palm Jumeirah and will feature rides for thrill-seekers of all ages, including the world’s longest ProSlide Mammoth BLAST – a 449-metre, family-friendly water coaster and raft rocket that will propel riders through wind channels, drops and uphill climbs for an exhilarating ride. Guests of Atlantis, The Palm and yet-to-open Atlantis, The Royal, as well as members of the public will be able to use the park.

However, Dubai has proven to be quite resilient over the years, so all hope is not lost yet on ascending the building that will be a little less than 1/6 of Mount Everest.

Suspended due to the Coronavirus, Expo 2020 Dubai is now only a few months away, kicking off on the postponed date of October 1, 2021, and running until March 31, 2022. The huge event will see countries from all over the world exhibit their vision and plans for the future through a uniquely-designed, architecturally-extravagant pavilion.

When it opens, the Meydan One Mall in Mohammed Bin Rashid City will be home to the world’s longest indoor ski slope, a one-kilometre trail in the mall’s 12,000-square-metre Winter Village. The mall is also looking to snatch the title for world’s largest dancing fountain measuring 25,800 square metres. It is a terrain in Dubai that is characterized by sustainability and innovation.

The new quarter extends from the desert to the Burj Khalifa, with an area of several million square meters. A four-meter long canal connects the Meydan One area with the Arabian Gulf. This means that the district can be reached by public transport, water taxis, or yachts.

The Museum of the Future – one of Dubai’s most ambitious and exciting upcoming projects – just reached a milestone and is one step closer to opening. The outside facade of the building has been completed but we’re still waiting on the inside. In a Tweet HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai stated that the Museum of the Future is “the most innovative building in the world [and] a global engineering icon.”

Four floors of the expansive museum will focus on the possible futures of outer space, resource development, ecosystems and bioengineering, as well as health, wellness, and spirituality. Another floor will be dedicated to showcasing near future technologies which will transform our world by addressing challenges in areas such as health, water, food, transportation, and energy, while the final floor will give children with their own world to explore, and challenges to complete, on their way to becoming ‘future heroes.’

Palm Jumeriah already has some of the world’s most stunning residential properties, retail attractions and leisure facilities as well as luxury hotels and resorts operated by some of the most prestigious names in hospitality. When the 52-storey tower opens, it will have 289 guest rooms and suites (as part of The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm, which will occupy the first 18 floors of the tower), plus 432 luxury residences, a 50th-floor infinity pool, a new restaurant (Sushisamba) and The View, a public observatory, opening in March 2021.

While details are still thin on the ground for this open-air experience, what we know is that it will be set on the sky bridge connecting the two Sky View Towers. he dual towered project will have 531 apartment residences and a 169-room luxury five-star hotel. The residents and guests will have access to facilities such as Basketball Court, BBQ Area, Golf Court, Gym, and a wide range of restaurants to dine at!
