In addition to the more than adequate number of bedrooms in the main house, the Mansion boasts a four-bedroom guesthouse which was also featured on E!’s reality shows.
Bought 45 years ago for just over $1 million by Playboy Enterprises, Inc., the Gothic-designed Tudor style home was built in 1927. Home base for the Playboy Empire for the past half-century, the home has proven to be a smart investment and is one of the highest priced private-homes in the United States today.
As the future of Playboy evolves, so does the future of the famous, or is it “infamous”, Mansion, but one thing will remain the same – Hugh. Hefner expects to be given a “life estate” at the mansion, allowing him to stay until his death.
