If you’re spending more time in your favourite luxury auto than in your home, perhaps it is time to consider why. Do you love the thrill of the engine vibrating under you as you tear across highways and rough terrains? Or, are you so in love with the entirety of your vehicle that you cherish your quiet moments together, choosing to let yourself wander as you’re enveloped in its warm, cosy interior? If it’s the latter, then you should consider modelling your home decor after your favourite luxury auto.

In the last decade, luxury auto firms have pivoted sharply into real estate, opening up everything from skyscrapers to private homes. Now, you may never get to own a slice of real estate from your fave luxury auto brand, but, who says you have to? If auto-tuning businesses are a thing, custom-built homes based on luxury auto concepts can surely exist.

Wondering how to pull it off? Here are some things to consider

Consider the brand’s DNA

It goes without saying that every luxury auto brand has its unique DNA, philosophy and identity that defines it, and, if you’re absolutely in love with a marque, you most likely resonate with its beliefs and core values.

Let’s say you love Ferraris. You most likely love bold colours and designs that reflect power. Or, if Porsches are more your thing, you might be an adherent of quiet luxury with the occasional bold accents.

The new Aston Martin logo.
Before modelling the interior of your home after your favourite luxury auto, consider everything the brand stands for and see how you can adopt that. Image courtesy of Aston Martin

Should you choose to design your home or space after your favourite luxury auto, the first rule is to consider what the brand stands for and see how you can incorporate that into your home design.

Choose a specific model. Or not

Just considering the brand’s DNA might not be enough to give you the complete look you desire, so your next step is to list the specific model (s) you love from your chosen brand.

So say you adore Rolls Royce, but not all its models truly fascinate you. The design idea for your living room can come from elements in the Black Badge Wraith, and you can narrow things further in your bedroom by incorporating details from one of its unique models, like the Arcadia.

2024 Porsche Panamera can serve as the bases of your luxury auto-inspired home decor
Copying ideas off a unique model (that you may or may not own) can help bring your decor idea together nicely. Image courtesy of Auto Evolution

Tying design elements and choice of materials to specific models of your favourite luxury auto brand can help to give you a more interesting, creative and cohesive outcome.

Materials, materials

Here’s one truth about true luxury brands: quality materials are everything. From the richest leathers to the softest fabrics, luxury auto brands always ensure that every material put together to make their vehicles is not just premium but offers the best comfort and evokes the best positive emotions that money can buy.

Customers can customise based on leather grades and colours
Want a luxury auto-themed interior home decor? Only premium materials are allowed. Image courtesy of Bugatti

Which is exactly what you have to do when designing your luxury auto-themed home. From soft leather sofas to chrome door handles, luxurious wood accents and flooring, every material used and piece added has to have the same level of premium quality as your dream auto.

Craftsmanship

Experienced and meticulous craftsmanship is another factor that sets true luxury autos apart, so get ready to invest in the services of the best in the field if you want your home to look anything like your luxury car.

Without the right craftsperson to put it all together, your luxury auto-themed home project will not see the light of day. Image courtesy of Rolls Royce

Custom-built furniture is a must, as are handcrafted items like rugs and accents. Experienced artisans who are extremely detailed are also necessary to help bring your dream to life.

Include the fireworks

What’s a luxury car without the wow factor?

To get the perfect finish on your luxury auto-themed home, make sure to include standout features that tie the entire vision together, like dramatic lighting for example, or a feature wall, or even contrasting accessories and accents that would elevate the entire design and start conversations every time someone steps into your space.

Spending time with what you truly love is important, but, so also is spending time with who you love. Your beloved luxury auto should take you home and not away from it. If you find yourself spending more time in your car than in your home, then maybe it is time to bring it in with these outlined steps which is a good starter guide to designing your home interior after your favourite luxury auto.

While the rest of the world is battling with unfavourable conditions in the real estate market, luxury auto brands are rushing to build skyscrapers, with Mercedes Benz being the latest to announce a new high-rise project with Dubai-based firm, Binghatti.

[No, you’re not wrong: it is the same Binghatti working with Jacob&Co, as well as Bugatti on their own branded skyscrapers, all in Dubai.]

The world of architecture is a-buzz. Experts are debating its accessibility, aesthetics, and sustainability. First are the sceptics pointing at the real estate crisis in certain countries and wondering how easily the opulent apartments will sell out. These are followed by the purists questioning how seamlessly this gargantuan tower will blend with the existing urban landscape. Then there are the environmentalists whose questions about the environmental impact of yet another resource-consuming structure appear to be the most valid.

Finally, there’s the rest of us, the non-technical ‘inquisitors’ whose only question is why? Why are luxury auto behemoths like Mercedes-Benz suddenly raising skyscrapers and funding other real estate projects?

A little travel back in time

2020 will be the year to remember for a long time for different reasons, chief among them being the changes it forced global and local businesses to make. Almost all faced two choices – adapt or perish, and even the most traditional brands saw themselves embracing unplanned transformations.

This meant, among other things, exploring new channels of communication and commerce, adopting innovative work methods, and venturing into untapped niches destined to withstand the test of time.

It is perhaps why brands like Ferrari have been relentless in their pursuit to become full-fledged lifestyle brands or others like Aston Martin are steadily diversifying into the ever-profitable world of real estate.

Newer models offer an important lesson

2022 was a fantastic year for luxury brands, including those in the automobile business.

For example, Rolls Royce announced that it had sold its highest amount of cars ever – 6021 to be exact over 12 months. But its figures were nothing compared to Bentley which sold over 15,000 vehicles in the same period. At Porsche, it was even more impressive: 95,604 customers received their Cayennes, while 86,724 Macans were safely delivered to their owners.

Lamborghini unveils the Urus Graphite Capsule
The rise and success of the true luxury SUV has perhaps reminded luxury auto brands of the importance of diversification. Image courtesy of Lamborghini

One salient factor underscoring this unprecedented success was the rise of the true luxury SUV: for Rolls Royce, it was the Cullinan that brought in the most sales, while at Lamborghini, the Urus was its sales booster. As stated above, Prosche’s Cayenne probably sold the most units and although Ferrari’s Purosangue debuted later in 2022, the reception it got is a pointer to how it would have fared if it had dropped earlier.

Against this backdrop, it quickly became clear that giving customers precisely what they need, in a way that fulfils their desires and cravings is what brands must do to secure the coveted unforgettable spot in their minds.

Pivoting for success?

So it comes as no surprise that Mercedes Benz and other luxury auto brands have chosen to slap their names and logos on skyscrapers and other real estate projects in select locations. If consumers want properties that reflect the elements they love in their cars, then it only makes sense for the brands to give them what they want, right?

However, it appears it is not as simple as that.

Skyscrapers might reflect a country’s wealth and its architectural prowess, but they are expensive to build and maintain. Add to this an increasing demand to be mindful of their carbon footprint, and it is getting harder for construction companies to justify building one today. For continents like Asia with the highest number of such buildings, the government could provide financing or support, making it cheaper to take on such a project. But even that has now become scarce, and the companies who want to add skyscrapers to their portfolio today may have to self-fund or source for funds privately.

And who else again would have the huge funds required for these high-rises but luxury auto firms with fat accounts from record sales in the last 3 years?

Luxury auto brands skyscrapers may become more commonplace in future
Luxury auto brands’ sudden interest in skyscrapers may be their way of diversifying safely. Image courtesy of Mercedes Benz Places

They may be in decline now, but that does not make skyscrapers any less cheap. It also does not mean they are no longer in demand from the very demographic that luxury auto brands are also trying to target. Which is why they are a fantastic investment option: working with established real estate companies allows car maisons to take a cautious dip into the market with as little risk to themselves as possible.

Today, Mercedes Benz has joined Bugatti, Bentley, Lamborghini and Aston Martin in the skyscraper standoff. More may join tomorrow. Or not. Whatever the future brings, however, it looks like luxury auto brands are hedging their bets, and for now, in real estate.

If there is one thing luxury auto brands have perfected over the years, it is the art of diversification. But perhaps their most natural jump has been the foray into the world of luxury yachts.

Luxury yachts are not in short supply. But when luxury automakers decided to it was time to get wet, the concept took a whole new meaning. From modelling the boats after popular marques to employing the same tech used in their cars, the yachts from these brands marry some of the best features in the automotive world with some of the most desirable characteristics in theirs.

Here are some luxury yachts by luxury auto brands that have made quite a splash in recent years

The Bugaatti Niniette 66 by Palmer Johnson

If Bugatti has ever made an ugly car, we are not aware, and so, it comes as no surprise that its yacht would be as much a delight to look at as their autos.

Built by Monaco-based shipyard, Palmer Johnson, the Niniette 66 is inspired by the Chiron and features the iconic ‘c shape’ line on its side. Its deck and hull are made out of carbon fibre and finished in blue and silver tones, while its interior combines carbon fibre, leather, and natural blue morta oak for a truly luxurious feel.

The lower deck houses a jacuzzi and fireplace made of fibreglass, both of which are surrounded by comfortable seats that make up the social area. There is also a champagne bar and a sun deck right in the middle.

Below deck is a generously-sized lounge and next to it is a bedroom with a double bed and bathroom.

Powered by two v8 engines, the Bugatti Niniette 66 (Niniette was the nickname for Lidia Bugatti, founder Ettore Bugatti’s daughter, while 66 stands for the length of the yacht, 66 feet, and the number of examples Johnson hopes to build for this concept) can reach top speeds of 44 knots and has a shallow draft of 0.83 metres.

Lexus Sport Yacht by the Marquis-Carver Yachts

Unlike the Bugatti Niniette 66, the Lexus Sport Yacht is a bespoke, one-off example that the auto brand has no intention of producing on a commercial scale.

It was built in collaboration with Marquis-Carver Yachts (now Marquis Yachts) using a composite of two-part polyurethane epoxy resin reinforced with a composite material called carbon-fibre reinforced plastic, or CFRP. This material allows the yacht to be at least 1000kg lighter than one built using fibreglass-reinforced plastic (FRP).

At the helm is a colour touchscreen that shows GPS navigation; digital charts; surface radar; underwater sonar and lighting, and contains the entertainment system, while the forward passenger cabin features a sofa that can sit a total of six people, and a table. A galley with a two-burner stove, sink, under-counter refrigerator and shower head complete the design.

The Aston Martin AM37 Powerboat by Quintessence Yachts

Do you know what Aston Martin did when it decided that it was time to move its creative capabilities from land to sea?

The AM37 is a yacht from luxury auto brand Aston Martin
The AM37 concept took two years to research and develop. Image courtesy of Aston Martin

It assembled a team of its most experienced designers, picked the brains of its master craftsmen, collaborated with naval architect Mulder Design and contracted the help of Quintessence Yachts to create a 37-foot powerboat, aptly named the AM37.

The AM37, which took two years of research and development “is a day cruiser that can be transformed into an overnight berth by transforming the table into a comfortable bed.” Perhaps its most distinct feature is its sliding deck technology, a lightweight ‘cover’ consisting of three carbon panels that can completely cover the cockpit of the boat at the touch of a button.

The AM37 comes with a sliding deck cover

With a carbon fibre dashboard that resembles that of Aston Martin’s most advanced sports cars, luxurious leather seats, mood lightening and other luxurious amenities, it is safe to say that the AM37 is a true luxury nautical vessel.

The Aston Martin Yacht comes in two versions — the AM37 with an estimated top speed of 45 knots and a choice of two 370 hp Mercury diesel or two 430 hp Mercury petrol engines, and, the AM37S version with twin 520 hp Mercury petrol engines that provide an estimated speed of 50 knots.

The Lamborghini 63 by Tecnomar

Per Lamborghini, the last thing they wanted was for their yacht to simply be a luxury supercar that could ride the waves. And while the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is anything but that, it is undeniably the boat version of the Sian FKP 37.

The yacht by luxury auto brand lamborghini has been designed to look like the Siàn FKP 37

But this is not the only Lamborghini model that makes an appearance on the yacht. The two leather pilot seats are modelled after the Huracan Evo while its dashboard looks exactly like what you would find on any Lamborghini marque.

The yacht is very fast but does not give any vibrations
For a yacht of its proportion, the Lamborghini 63 is super fast and yet gives little to no vibrations. Image courtesy of Lamborghini

Powered by a pair of MAN V12 diesel engines, each packing 2,000 hp, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 can reach top speeds of 60 knots, making her one of the fastest yachts in her class.

Looking to get one? That would set you back by at least $3.5 million.

Per Aston Martin, its vision is to ‘be the world’s most desirable ultra-luxury British brand.’ When it announced it was building the Aston Martin Residences in Miami back in 2020, it was its unique signal to the world that it meant every word. Now, two years after, the British brand is back to remind us that it is more than just a luxury auto business: it has recently announced that it is building a new, private luxury residence in Japan, this time the № 001 Minami Aoyama.

How did Aston Martin, a luxury auto brand domiciled in Britain, manage to design and now build a structure fit for Japan’s architectural and luxury landscape?

First, it started with the

Location

It is common knowledge that in real estate, location is everything. In keeping with the theme of exclusive luxury, Aston Martin teamed up with Japanese real estate company, Vibora, to choose the Omotesando area of the Minami Aoyama district, one of the affluent areas of Tokyo well-known for its architectural and style centres.

Once they had secured a worthy location, they moved on to designing the structure, starting with the

Exterior

Aston Martin realized that, in order to build a house that blended well with its surroundings while still maintaining its unique flair, it needed another set of hands and eyes that understood the area and its culture. And so the British brand collaborated with yet another local business; this time, Tokyo-based design studio Intentionallies.

Together, they came up with a four-storey concept that includes a garage on the ground floor, which also doubles as a gallery. The inclusion of a glass wall on the inside grants residents and visitors alike a full view of the parked cars as though they were in an auto showroom.

№ 001 Minami Aoyama also comes with a rooftop terrace that can be accessed with the help of a folding staircase. Its front façade features fluted ribbons of steel in an abstract geometric pattern that doubles as a privacy screen.

Next on the list was the

Interior

Neutral colours, clutter-free spaces and top-quality materials are the running themes here. Although it was also designed together with Intentionallies, the Aston Martin design team specified the fixtures and finishes throughout.

The addition of a wine cellar, a private spa and gym, a home cinema and an ample home office space makes No 1 Minami Aoyama a truly luxurious abode and one that has managed to marry functionality, technology, and luxury quite beautifully.

Unlike all the Aston Martin residences designed in the past, № 001 Minami Aoyama appears to be a one-of-one structure. It is a genuinely befitting structure for the anonymous and established Aston Martin collector who purchased it before its planned completion in November 2023.

At first glance, the new Aston Martin logo is the same as the 2003 version. But a closer look will reveal the changes that the British auto brand hopes will give it a more modern, forward-facing look.

Subtle tweaks, significant changes

In a move that might bring relief to die-hard fans, Aston Martin has decided to keep the winged emblem that was first introduced in 1932. The solid green logo box that houses its name is also back, after disappearing from its lineup in 1972.

The curved line under ‘Aston Martin’ is gone, however, and the typeface has changed.

“Actually, it’s a lot more change than that,” offered Marek Reichman, executive vice president and chief creative officer of Aston Martin, in an interview. “It’s a lot of very refined changes: in terms of the proportionality of the ‘Aston Martin’ that’s embedded in the wing, and in terms of the forms and shapes of how the linework meets the edge of the wing. Part of the design brief was to change the logo but not have it be unrecognisable. So it’s very much an evolution; a simplification of the wing and what you now get is clarity.”

The new logo has a solid green nameplate

And clarity is definitely one word that fits the new logo, along with simplicity and bold minimalism (which Aston Martin was able to achieve by slightly thickening the lines)

For Aston Martin, the future is here

The auto brand isn’t just updating its logo for the fun of it: this change is part of a larger, new creative campaign titled ‘Intensity. Driven.’ that’s a step in a much bolder direction than the brand has ever been.

“Building on our return to the pinnacle of motorsport in Formula One, the launch of ‘Intensity. Driven.’ marks the next phase in our evolution of the Aston Martin brand, as we unleash its global potential and maximise our unique position at the cutting-edge of ultra-luxury and high performance,” said Renato Bisignani, head of global marketing and communications for Aston Martin.

“Our intent is to ensure that the image association – what Aston Martin stands for – is very clear in the hearts and minds of our customers and that is what has led us to the brand repositioning,” he added.

Aston Martin will introduce the new logo on future sports cars
The new logo will make its debut at this year’s French Grand Prix. Image courtesy of Aston Martin

The new logo, designed in collaboration with acclaimed British art director and graphic designer Peter Saville, will feature on the next generation of Aston Martin sportscars and will make its debut on the livery of the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant F1 Team at the French Grand Prix on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

And to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the manufacturer’s first Grand Prix entry, Aston Martin will also symbolically race with its original button logo on the nose of its autos, mirroring the marque featured on its first Grand Prix entries in 1922.

Aston Martin has announced that Valhalla – which made its debut in the latest James Bond movie, No Time to Die – is now ready for production. Although it is the same hybrid vehicle, it differs massively from the lighter V6 engine it was originally rumoured to be.

Aston Martin’s CEO, Tobias Moers, says that the changes will not stop Valhalla from delivering on all its promises. “Preserving the essence of an exceptional concept car is vital when meeting the challenge of bringing it into production. With Valhalla not only have we stayed true to our commitment to build a world-beating supercar, but we have exceeded our original aims. The result is a pure driving machine – one which exists right at the cutting edge of performance and technology yet allows the driver to feel the emotion and thrill of complete connection and control.”

What does this mean?

First, the hybrid hypercar features three motors, the most powerful of which is a rear-mid-mounted 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. That sounds very Mercedes, but Aston says this engine is bespoke. With a flat-plane crank, it’s the “most advanced, responsive, and highest performing V8 engine” ever fitted to an Aston Martin. It revs to 7,200 rpm and produces 740 horsepower on its own steam, all of which goes to the rear axle. Top-exit tailpipes finish off the exhaust, which is both lightweight and features active flaps.

Along with the V8, you get a 150-kW battery hybrid system with two electric motors, one for each axle. This system adds another 201 hp for a total of 937 hp.

Then, there’s an EV mode that, when active, powers the front axle exclusively, while other driving modes see the percentage of power sent to each axle varying, depending on the driving demands. In certain situations, the Valhalla can direct 100% of its battery power to the rear axle for maximum performance.

Helping manage all this power is an all-new eight-speed dual-clutch automatic that has been developed specifically for a hybrid powertrain. It features an electronic limited-slip diff for enhanced handling and no reverse gear, as the electric motors can easily handle backing up. This saves weight and makes the most of the electric system.

It is worthy to note that in the EV mode, it can go up to 80 mph (128km/h), although the maximum range in this mode is just nine miles.

The Aston Martin Valhalla will be every inch a racing car as it will be appropriate for street driving

With regards to acceleration, the sprint from 0-62 mph takes just 2.5 seconds and top speed is rated at 217 mph. As for the rest of the highlights, the Valhalla is getting a new carbon-fibre tub for maximum stiffness with minimal weight; Formula One-style pushrod front suspension with inboard mounted springs and dampers; multilink suspension at the rear; Multimatic variable spring rates, and adaptive spool valve dampers. Thanks to these, Track mode will see the ride height “dramatically reduced”, while street driving offers a nose-lifting system for help with tricky bumps.

The Valhalla will make a performance drive at

There are no images of the cabin, but Aston promises a new AM HMI system with a central touchscreen boasting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Valhalla will be offered as both a left-hand and right-hand drive vehicle and will feature other luxuries like full LED Matrix headlights with auto high-beams; forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking; active cruise control; blind-spot monitoring, and the obligatory rearview camera, which can be upgraded to a surround-view system at an extra cost.

Aston Martin is holding back on when the final product will be unveiled, but the first deliveries are expected in 2023.

Recent RIBA royal gold medal awardee, David Adjaye, and luxury British automaker, Aston Martin, have come together to design five luxury residences for David Adjaye’s first skyscraper, 130 William, in New York. But this collaboration offers more than a tastefully-furnished luxury interior for future residents: it also includes a special-edition Aston Martin DBX custom-designed by Sir David Adjaye himself.

The five residences will be located on the 59th and 60th floors of the 244-metre-tall residential tower under construction in Manhattan and will combine the ethos of Aston Martin’s elegant design and dedicated craftmanship with Adjaye’s bold vision evident in every detail.

“The 130 William Aston Martin homes have been touched in a very particular way that merges our design sensibilities. Together with the limited edition SUVs that come with these units, we’ve created a truly unique signature that blends our two disciplines,” said Adjaye.

Differing from the other homes in the 242-unit tower, these five will be decorated with materials, textiles and furniture sourced from the Aston Martin Home Collection by the Italian manufacturer Formitalia, with additional touches by Adjaye.

Residents will be greeted at the entry hallway with a bronze cross-hatch design, a signature of the Aston Martin brand, that will go over dark Adjaye-designed wallpaper. A large arched smoked-glass mirror by Aston Martin’s design team will hang on the wall, as a reference to the arched windows of the skyscraper. Renderings show these windows will flood daylight into the grand lounge and dining room, whose furnishings will include leather, metal and fabric chairs curated by Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer, and Sir David Adjaye, and which are intended to draw on the aesthetic of Aston Martin car interiors.

An open-plan kitchen adjoining the living room will have rich materials like blackened-oak Italian cabinetry, marble countertops from Italy’s Apuan Alps and a cantilevered Nero Marquina marble top.

In the main bathroom, dark Italian Salvatori will be carved into a bathtub and double vanity sinks while secondary bathrooms incorporate Grigio Versilia marble and Bianco Carrera marble. Design details in the main bedroom will include Formitalia furniture and a custom cashmere headboard.

Residents will also be able to turn one of the rooms in the two- or three-bedroom homes into a racing simulator, an office and library space or a bedroom. The racing simulator will be made in partnership with British technology company Curv Racing Simulators. Each residence will also have an expansive outdoor space with bespoke slatted screens to divide up lounging areas.

First unveiled in 2017, the 130 William is a 66-storey skyscraper in Downtown Manhattan that Adjaye has designed with local firm Hill West Architects for developer Lightstone. It will have a textural hand-cast concrete exterior to complement the materiality of the surrounding historic, brick commercial buildings.

The special-edition DBX’s highly crafted interiors and custom paintwork have a strong synergy with the building’s architecture, evoking the materials, textures and atmosphere of 130 William. Its interior features real stone accents, with Grey “Pietra D’Avola” marble inlays matched with satin walnut wood. Its seats and steering wheel are covered with Aston Martin’s traditional hand-stitched leather in Parliament Green to match the walls of the simulator room option.

The five Aston Martin Residences include two penthouses for sale at $11,500,000 and $10,500,000, and three loggia residences priced from $3,985,000, $5,985,000 and $10,000,000.

According to statistics, the video games market is expected to be worth over 90 billion US dollars by 2020 with more than 2.5 billion video gamers all over the world. With figures like this, it is no wonder that Aston Martin has swerved into the world of gaming with a bang.

Collaborating with high-end sim maker Curv, Aston Martin has released the AMR-CO1, ‘the ultimate luxury home simulator for drivers who want to compete in the virtual or the real world’ complete with a console that incorporates a seat, pedals, steering wheel, and a monitor to help put users in the pretend cockpit. Appropriately, Curv boss, Darren Turner, is also an Aston Martin works GT racer who has taken three class wins at the Le Mans 24 Hours with the brand and is a simulator specialist with over 20 years’ experience in cutting edge Formula 1 simulation.

Designed by Aston Martin and engineered by Curv, the AMR-C01 has a lightweight carbon fibre monocoque with the seating position modelled on the Aston Martin Valkyrie to give users a feel of the hypercar. The seat faces a steering wheel that incorporates a central display screen, while the front of the sim’s bodywork is shaped to invoke the signature Aston Martin Racing grille.

According to the official press release, the AMR-C01 will make a stylish addition to any luxury games room due to its unique look. “This was a challenge for the design team as, although the simulator isn’t a car, it is inspired by our racing cars. It needed to exude the same elegance, boasting the same dynamic lines and balance of proportions as any Aston Martin with a racing lineage. I can picture the AMR-C01 in the most beautiful of residences as a sculptural work of art in its own right,” says Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman.

Running Assetto Corsa software means the simulator will be able to reproduce anything from the modest performance of a 160-hp Abarth 500 esseesse to a Ferrari SF-15T Formula 1 car, although the expectation is that buyers will prefer to concentrate on the various carefully modelled Aston Martin models. They will also be able to race against rivals online where they can come out of several wrecks without the fear of death or millions in repairs.

The Aston Martin AMR-C01 is a limited collection of 150 units and costs £57,500 or $74,000. The first deliveries are scheduled to take place before the end of the year. For more information and to order yours, click here.

Well, Aston Martin is giving you the rare opportunity to not only ride but own a car from the soon-to-be-released 25th edition of the James Bond movie, No Time To Die. Actually, make that two cars. The new 007 Editions of the Aston Martin Vantage and DBS Superleggera are a timely collaboration between the luxury car brand and EON Productions, the company that produces the James Bond films with Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios.

The new movie coming out on the 25th of November, 2020 will feature four Aston Martin sports cars: the iconic DB5; the classic Aston Martin V8; the brand’s latest super GT, DBS Superleggera; and the exceptional Aston Martin Valhalla – the company’s yet-to-be-released mid-engined hypercar.

The 007 Aston Martin Editions feature a number of unique customisations crafted by the experts in Aston Martin’s bespoke division, Q by Aston Martin. The Vantage 007 edition is inspired by the classic V8 Vantage which appeared in the 1987 James Bond movie “The Living Daylights,” and features a bespoke mesh grille with chrome bezel on its exterior. It comes in an authentic Cumberland Grey and can even be delivered with a set of The Living Daylights inspired limited edition skis and ski rack.

Inside, you will find a mixture of obsidian black leather and dark chrome with 007 brandings applied on the centre console of cars equipped with a manual gearbox. The sun visors of all the cars will carry another subtle film reference in the shape of an embroidered radio station frequency – 96.60 (FM) – which 007 buffs will know was the Russian police frequency Bond used to aid his escape in The Living Daylights. The driver can indulge themselves further with a laser-etched gadget plaque that references the various weapons and devices seen on the original film car. These include a rocket motor, missiles, lasers, a targeting display and ski outriggers. Available in manual or automatic, the Vantage 007 Edition also boasts a side strake Vantage badge and is limited to 100 units globally.

The second car in this edition, the DBS Superleggera 007 Edition is even more limited than the first. Restricted to only 25 pieces, it is equipped with a 5.2-litre V12 twin-turbocharged engine and comes in a special Ceramic Grey exterior paint with the roof, mirror caps, splitter, diffuser and rear Aeroblade IITM featured in black tinted carbon fibre. It also has a 007 fender badge, finished in chrome with a black enamel infill and Stainless Steel Silver 007 foil applied to the rear spoiler blade.
